Kohli won the toss and opted to bat at the Old Trafford cricket ground in Manchester. India are unchanged for this game while the West Indies have brought in Sunil Ambris and Fabian Allen for Evin Lewis and Ashley Nurse.
पहले बल्लेबाजी करने उतरी भारतीय टीम की शुरुआत उम्मीद के मुताबिक अच्छी नहीं रही। महज 35 रन के स्कोर टीम इंडिया को सलामी बल्लेबाज रोहित शर्मा (18) के रूप में पहला झटका लगा। केमार रोच ने 5.6 ओवर में रोहित के विकेटकीपर शाई होप के हाथों कैच आउट कराकर चलता किया।इससे पहले इस मुकाबले में भारतीय कप्तान विराट कोहली ने टॉस जीतकर पहले बल्लेबाजी करने का फैसला किया है। टीम इंडिया में कोई बदलाव नहीं किया गया है। वहीं, वेस्टइंडीज ने अपनी टीम में दो बदलाव करते हुए एश्ले नर्स और एविन लुईस की जगह सुनील अंबरीस और फाबियान एलेन को प्लेइंग इलेवन में शामिल किया है।
